An absolutely fascinating nostalgia trip! Love that vinyl seats are luxurious!

Thanks very much for posting this.

Photos from a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud and Bentley Series 'S' sales brochure from the early 60's I think, which my father brought me back from the Earls Court Motor Show. It's in my pile of brochures to eBay one day! The drawings and black and white photos are just fabulous

I’ve got a couple of Bentley ‘brochures’ knocking about at work. Unless someone has pinched them. One is in chinese I think. They’re samples from a printers we use. They’re almost obsecenely lavish, almost every printing process known to man and case bound. There’s a McLaren one too, which IIRC is a sort of huge coffee table book.

Some great posts here, thanks.

Just to let you know that I am a bit miffed about the mods combining my new thread, which was for scans/ photos of complete brochures, with an earlier one which is general discussion about old brochures, brochure collecting, and an opportunity for members to showcase their collections - which is fine but not what my thread was for. I have complained about this to the mods and asked them to split the two distinct threads back again. To date I have yet to have the courtesy of a reply from them.

Hopefully this will be split back into two threads again very soon, as I don't want to have to restart it again.

Amazing to see this thread is ten years old.

During that time most manufacturers have moved to e-brochures. I wonder if people will be buying & selling those in years to come?

This is the original photo which was used in the Mk2 Cooper S brochure, the bonnet badge, exterior door hinges and the verticle dividing bar of the sliding windows were 'airbrushed out' for the Mk3 S brochure....!

I've got two Saab 900 owners manuals from 1984 if those count, plus a "Saab 900 and Turbo road test articles" booklet by Transport Source Books. No idea if they are worth much or worth selling, though I haven't any use for them.

They are worth about £8 a pop, but might take a year or two to sell.

Loti - not just photos, this is full press pack - again bit modern, but still nice.

Great thread. I recall as a lad of the 70s writing letters requesting brochures from manufacturers - and most got something back. I seem to recall Lotus and Lancia being the most generous, but I need to get into my parents loft to see if any are still there.
