I am also a collector of car brochures. Largely nothing special or exclusive and mostly of late 70s onwards stuff that I remember as a kid.

Having collected them for years (I also have a good couple of hundred) it's a bit of an eye-opener how much some of them are worth now.

Not really a collector but I do have quite a few late 80s/early 90s Saab brochures, along with some mid-90s Rover ones.

If anybody has any 1990-ish Saab 900 brochures I'd definitely be interested smile

Anybody seen any of this range?

Hard cover & 60 pages! That's what I call a brochure!

Yep, it was an EBay bidding frenzy and ended up going to a buyer in Sweden.

Wish I'd kept it but needed the money at the time. I sold some amazing stuff and netted a few hundred quid in the end. Sold them all over the world too.

I don't generally collect brochures but somewhere (don't ask me to find it, it's probably in the loft) I've got one for a Jensen Interceptor convertible - very rare, apparently.

Yep, that would be very collectable!

I'd just like to say that my brochure collecting continues...

.....but I'm now moving on car manuals (mostly Haynes 60s-80s). (Just mentioning it in a not-breaking-the-PH-posting-rules-kind-of-way biggrin)

I had lots of them, some modern some old. I sold quite a few on ebay and at toy fairs and the rest went to PHers.

I do have a TVR wedges sales pack that comes with quite a number of 80's TVR magazine cuttings that I dug out the other day though.

Sounds like a good item for eBay?

scratchchin Whereabouts in the PH classifieds would you say is the best place to advertise these manuals? I've stuck an ad in garage equipment, but methinks that's probably a seldom visited section? (relatively speaking biggrin)

Wow, interesting thread!

About 10 years ago I visited a MB dealership with my parents and they signed us up to their mailing list. I sent off for pretty much every brochure I could get my hands on.

I've got a load of generic (early 2000s) standard brochures, but I have an AMG hardback brochure and a few MB ones (S class) which are still in perfect condition. Might start my own little collection!

Anyone got any hardback MB brochures from the 000's?

I stumbled upon a small classic car show in a little town on saddleworth after a bike ride and found a guy selling old brochures from mainly the 80s and 90s. It was a very comprehensive collection, wish I'd asked for his card now, but I think he was based in oldham.

Yep. Quite a few. I had some lovely 90's Porsche hardback brochures too but they went in my mad phase of selling them a few years back. Other hardbacks I have are BMW, Range Rover, Audi A8 amongst others.
