Hi all, the article in Practical Classics is in the March edition, which for some reason comes out on January 21st.
If any one has missed the issue, I'm now based in KL and have uploaded my digital subscription copy, just like i give away my hardcopies to the barber shop:

That Blue! .. and the wheels are just perfect.
The shade of 'metallic' blue can be so tricky - if you don't know what you're doing it can end up like a 1974 Granada colour biggrin

Hello Mike,
I've found my way here via your article in this month's XK Gazette - as the owner of a late '57 XK150 FHC I've found both this PistonHeads topic and your article absolutely fascinating.

Just wanted to say congratulations on what you have achieved - and I can't wait for your next episode !!!
Kind regards
Tony

They have just demolished the main building at Arena Essex.

The guy who gives the commentary on the link below (no video just a still of the building being pulled down) was famous for being devoted to the place and gets very emotional

I watched this & felt that it’s a bit rich given all the Mk.X Jags & Westies that they wrecked over the years.
I know most banger boys were straight but there was always a criminal element.
I think it was the ‘last Westie bash’ in 2011 that saw quite a few much loved classics stolen from peoples garages.

I think the huge 'All Granada' and 'All Cortina' meetings that were held in 2013/2016 were blamed for some thefts. That is very wrong.
But I am either way on what tin they actually use, provided it's legitimately sourced. However, I fully understand why others may be less happy!
