Thanx Ken. I just stuck my shutter at 1/60 - 1/160s and snapped through the field.

I'm off to Portimao friday - monday: expect more porn wink

Please make post production finance easier for the talented GT Racer team: pledge a bit and get that DVD. You know you want one . . . or two (perfect gift!).

Excellent 2nd for the Voyazides / Hadfield GT40, who set the quickest laptime at 2:49 secs.

Mean machine and bound to win. But there was a big E-type in the way . . .

If you get a chance watch the whole series and base your opinion on that. And not just on the 1st DVD you got your hands on.

Eat that. I would never work with a 'garage queen production'. Let's move on.

Found this snap of Doms TR.

I had a thorough look at Jons E at Portimao: looks like a piece of work.

Racing is waiting.

Paddock detail:

The DFV engines have better performance than back in the days: 520 brake now. Not only because of the improved quality of materials, fluids and such, but also because the DFVs have developed: and they are still being made! :dream of a DFX 3.9 in a CanAm Ultima:

I love the details and every V8 seems to have its own looks.

Naked Wolfe.

70s F1 tech is relatively simple. WDK guy explained: 70s cars are not that difficult but it's so different compared to the 80s cars. You can't even push them when in gear because of the tolerances.

Thursday Ken, I am dead busy: my business is running up steam like nothing else!

I am not working for a boss anymore: seems like those days are over!

Ken, I'm promoting WDK and will most probably pay them a workshop-visit at the 4th Driving-Fun Spring Run 2011 (formerly my DSR, joint venture now).

This will be 6, 7 and 8 May 2011: starting from Hull and going to North London on the saturdays, London - GW brekkie on the sunday morning, hoon to Calais in the afternoon, Euro Tunnel at night.

I'm aimimg at ± 20 Continentals and a pack of 30 PHers to join us.

Coming on topic soon!

1965 Alfa TZ yum:

A wonderfull 12th place for the superb prepared Ellerbrock / Furiani / Glasel Alfa.

IMO the most gorgeous and desirable of the 105 cars.

Think north of 150K to buy one of these 1.6 beauties.

Oh yes, it will be updated this week.

The filming was done by my mate Robin, who did an incredible job editting it to this result.

The S/H Blackpool Rocket is quite a car, not shy of a tight budget.

They had to retire this year, only 49 laps. But hey: 2:54 best time is Cobra quality! and better than HEM6. GT40s are a fews secs quicker . . .

More Sports Cars, Chevrons are my favourites: beautifull lines, superb angry four pot soundbyte and mega agile.

B16 yum.

Quickest B16 of the bunch came in 7th.

Quickest Chevron was a B6 (differs not much from a B8). I expect this to have a Beemer in.

B16 in combat with Oli Bryant, who sadly had to retire on the Eau Rouge hill later in the race.

Italian B16. Achingly pretty . . .

9th place for the Hodges Beemer powered B8. Think 230 brake.

More . . . let's pick up some 6 Hours beef.
