Came across this the other day after getting slightly lost trying to find a car dealer and trusting technology , ended up surrounded by houses , poor thing looks green and neglected , parts and crap inside it aswell , hasn't moved for a while by the looks of it

And yes the place I was looking for turned out to be right opposite the houses so felt stupid frown
The fact you were lost is a sign!

You should go back and try to save it....

Think it's done the rounds before, nonetheless... frown
I have never seen it before. Bloody heartbreaking though.....

I'd love to but don't have anywhere to store a project and probably not enough money to sort it frown
Might go back and visit it tho

RX7 Fairford Leys Aylesbury, hasnt turned a wheel in years

I'm not surprised.

That front wheel and tyre are fked!
Is that not distortion in the picture? Look at the wonky straight (?) line of the parking bay next to the front wheel.

This is a bit naughty as it's supposed to be hidden from view by a sort of sheet but not

concealed enough for my nosey camera !

This is outside, you can see the "sheet"

That's not been left to die/rotting! - It's blatantly being used as a bracket for the hose and electrical cables! spin

Not worth a sight though being a 1968 340, with small bumpers and plastic interior. Nice to see the tow bar though!

As the subject of the Swedish CosworthGraveyard has come up again and i said "Been there"

I don't want anyone calling BS on me so here are MY pics from 2010.

Can't remember if they have been posted here before but this thread is too long to check.

The last pic shows my car with the red mirrors poking out onto the road outside the yard

Some of these pics are similar to the originals posted by the finder of the yard but these

ARE mine

wow @Iva pictures Fords...

what happened over-there?
the cars looked parked for a Ford Cosworth meeting and then all owners disappeared...
they look all "good" at least when they were parked over-there...very strange.

and interesting biggrin

Go back a couple of pages where there is a link to an article which appeared

a few years ago about a Hungarian who "found" this place and posted it and it

spread all over the web as it would.

I was linked to it via a SEAT forum which gave an exact map location for it in

Sweden.

I was visiting Sweden for a car event ,Power Big Meet, google it it's huge and as this

yard was not a huge distance away i drove over there after the show one day and hey presto.

There is a field FULL of old classics, cars, vans, motorbikes, you name it In Fearnan on the banks of loch Tay, as you out of Fearnan on the left Just on the edge of the village,Loch tay is on your right down the bank, your tripping over cars and stuff!
The whole lot is just rotting away ... sad to see.
