Lets see a picture of your classic(s)

Just catching up on a year's worth of contributions to this thread (yes I don't visit here nearly as much as I should). Well done guys what a complete lack of willy waving or jealousy, just appreciation of peoples personal choices, aspirations and abilities. It goes to show we all have the "sickness" here and would happily fill our garages up with the absolute maximum that our income allows. Let the "investors" stink out some other forum instead.
Anyhow here's a recent purchase, some might say not a classic yet, others that it was a classic the day it was made;
and my long term Esprit at last weekend's Jim Clark memorial event at Duns

Have always loved those! We need more pictures!
Haven't got many yet, but here is is next to my old Calibra which is now run by my stepson, a surprisingly rare sight these daysThe 996 Porsche below is technically my wifes but seeing as 1)she spent the proceeds of my Lotus Eclat restoration to buy it, plus 2)I maintain and clean the bloody thing, I'll present it as my own! In this picture I succumbed to trying to do the "concours" thing at a local car show, and did the bare minimum by cleaning the insides of the wheels and arches. OF course it tossed down on the way there, and at the show it was obvious I'd never be OCD enough to win, so that's the last time for that. I am rather proud of the way the paint came up with my first bash at machine polishing, Porsche paint is super hard.
These 996s are the ultimate modern classic bargain. If you are willing to take a risk they offer a superb experience for the price of a Fiat 500

Crossing into Andorra last September climbing some 6000 feet, before a run over the Pyrenees to get boat back from Bilbao.
That was a great trip!
Sweeeeet!!! That was a great trip!
Was it running hot on the climb? Is the bonnet open to improve airflow? I used to do that on my old Classic Capri and Honda S800.

Anyone know how much these sell for know? Looking for a sporty-ish car for not to much money.
The best V6s start at a grand, the best diesels start at 2 grand. Probably wouldn't bother with the 4 potters. I've found the car to be fairly well built but it's needs a constant stream of parts regardless of whether it gets used or not; it's been begging for tyres but it's needed a starter and engine mounts first. I had some new discs/pads slated for this month, then the exhaust blew this morning! I have an old Volvo T5 as a daily which is so well made it sort of lulls you into a false sense of security as to running "lesser" classics as commuters!
