Not mine, but my Dad's 1936 Morgan F-Type. He bought it when he was 15 in 1962!! (you could drive a three wheeler at 16 back then, so long as you never engaged reverse in sight of a policeman)
Here it is on the Long Mynd in front of a couple of other Morgan buddies, Youtube footage here:
Brilliant - great to see them still used and enjoyed. Here it is on the Long Mynd in front of a couple of other Morgan buddies, Youtube footage here:
Posted a pic' of my A100 pick up t'other week and said I might need something for when fifty five just isn't enough... after a frustrating search for a Scimitar G.T.C. I settled for a T.R.7 V.8. Glad I did. Cheap, fun, sounds gorgeous and goes like the proverbial scalded moggy... Should be ideal for our excursions into the Welsh mountains and up to the Lakes. Love it, I've already covered more miles in it than it has done in the last five years and it's improving all the time.
I'll admit to not liking the wedge many moons back and finding the creaky plastic interior hideous after wood dashes and chrome clocks. I now really like the shape and, much as I prefer older classics, the fact it's a seventies design works in its favour for what I need it to do. Thirties style open top roadsters are great but I feel like I'm getting a bit beat up for year round use of such cars. The fact that these are still a fraction of the price of a good earlier Triumph may also have worked in it's favour...
The wheels are 15" M.G.F., again, I'm not particularly fond of them but they are necessary to clear the four pot brake upgrade.
So I now have a car with windows, a roof that keeps the weather out, a big windscreen with wipers that work and a heater... admittedly the heater came with it not in it... can't have everything can ya?
The interior... with all the charm of a K-Tel cassette box, but it has adjustable seats so the other half can take over easily if needs be, a blue tooth stereo (not certain that's standard!), sun visors, and even a couple of ashtrays...

The TR7 looks great. I know they were/are largely unloved, but I really like them.
I've mentioned it before,my neighbour has a W reg light met blue convertible which he bought when it was less than a year old and in the 20 years I've lived there have never seen it out of the garage...? Seem to recall it's done about 40K... But probely not worth alot...?CRA1G said:

It won't be worth masses, but a virtually one-owner low mileage car would be of considerable interest I'd have thought. I'd be interested myself if it was up for sale. Neural said:

ood job looks with reliability and that Zetec on TB's must go really well in that light chassis I would imagine
It keeps with modern traffic no problem, it’s about 185bhp apparently. I intend to take it to emerald to get them to map it at some point..http://www.kitsandclassics.co.uk ...... http://baileyperformance.co.uk/?page_id=9 Dale from the later is very good with non stock engine configs too e.g throttle bodies, competition builds etc , look him up he has rave reviews from many
