That looks lovely. Nice to see it being used properly, and not just polished. They somehow look better unwashed.
Absolutely agree these Cars are meant to be used. RichB said:
I just don't get this, it's as if you chaps are two sides of a theological divide. Why can't someone use their classic then wash and polish it too? Odd...
Do you wash your car every time it goes out for a drive or gets dirty? I guess, for me at least, it shows that I drive it and treat it like a car, not a display piece.
It gets washed when I feel like it, just like my daily driver.

Here's my 67 Mustang. I've owned it for 15 years but don't use it as much as I should.

That is fantastic, Darren. I don't think I could stop driving that if it were mine. FB_IMG_1529260344495 by Darren Richards, on Flickr

second trip to France this year drive over the Millau Bridge then look underneath to see how it is built
If it interests you there was a cracking documentary (on "Quest", I think) about the building of this bridge, it was very good. Knowing these channels it'll probably be on again soon.PomBstard said:
Just visited Daddy’s Noisy Car - operation generally a success and should be home within a week. Looks fantastic polished up, and sounds so much smoother - it wasn’t rough before but the difference is noticeable...
It’s going to get a whole lot more use from here on!
Pic inside the Bay doesn’t really show the shininess - have just received a load of pics of the work done, thought I’d share this one - I think it scrubs up quite well...It’s going to get a whole lot more use from here on!
