Either of those would be awesome. Always wanted to emulate the original concept as well.Muddle238 said:
Beginning to get my big old Traction ready for the spring/summer. Lots of places I’d like to take it this year, hoping for a decent spell of weather over summer. This winter has been truly miserable.
That is lovely ... reminds me of my very first car way back ... reg no. was NUC 99 and it cost me the grand total of £35.00. Mine had twin carbs and was good for 16 mpg ! Those were the days !RATATTAK said:

Great to hear it’s survived - I didn’t own the car for long (18 months) after buying it on a whim at Coys and only ventured out of London once with it because it was constantly overheating, jumping out of gear or draining the battery - but my goodness it was beautiful! it was featured in Classic Car I believe when it was registered on a private plate starting FBY...Jack Romano of the forum had rebuilt the engine and assured me it was tremendous....
As I said in the post I didn’t really regret it but got tired of throwing so much money at it with little to show for it. Sold it (eBay) and the Mercedes 280 SLC i had and bought a 928 instead - I’d have any of them back in a heartbeat now....
Pictures please if you have any...

Lovely E12. Any better pics please?I'm hoping my 1602 will be back on the road soon. Unfortunately the modified m10 engine I bought it with let go. I opted to use my old E30 M3 for inspiration and drop in a 16v engine on ITB's, upgrade the suspension and fit a new LSD. If I can get all the mechanical stuff done this year, I hope to wide arch the body come next.
