Got my favourite space at Sainsbury's today.
I really like your car tog, but the GB plate does my head in.
Me too. I've been meaning to fix them since about two minutes after I put them on 17 years ago. I did buy some new letters last year so it's getting closer to happening.

I’d like to trim a nice cake-slice shape out of the r/h hedge so that the door opened into it neatly.

Dug mine from its 12 months of slumber. Checked tyres and fluids and then drove it for a couple of hours. Brilliant.

I think they are still cool, such 190 series and those SL series (with hardtop)
great cars to change some more modern parts on (more out of sight) such as AMG engine swap and modern suspension etc.

the SLC looks cool on pictures, but I find them a bit to long, although they can look cool in rally trim :-) (not mine)

That looks awesome in that photo. It would be nice if there was an SL length SLC somewhere around as that would be pretty perfect.

Meh. What's a mere 380mm?

I know what you mean, but at 4.5m they really aren't that long compared to many other classics, and the advantage is genuinely usable rear seats.
