Been a bit more active in the TVR forum on here as I was told it was the place to come for advice since buying one. Now started having a look round though and though my pair of toys would probably have a wider interest so wanted to share them here… one is definitely classic and one would be more modern classic (cliched, I know).
The first is the Audi 200 Avant below… one of four left on the road in the UK. A more highly specified version of the C3 Audi body style, the 200 Avant came standard with the quattro and 2144cc turbocharged driveline from the UR! In addition, it’s hugely well equipped, even today. Standard electric seats, windows, mirrors, and sunroof. Cruise control, climate control and ABS were all also standard fair.
Here’s a couple of pics, I’ve owned the car for 18 months now and put a lot of effort in to making what you see here.
The first owner of the car was Haynes Publishing (Haynes Manuals), where it was Mrs Haynes daily driver.
Hope to get her out to a few more shows this year, she makes a fantastic family classic car too.

The second more modern classic is my recently purchased TVR Cerbera, one of the last in house AJP V8 cars to be registered.
It’s always been a poster car for me, so having the chance to own and enjoy one is a dream fulfilled.
I’ve only owned since September, and have really only been beautifying what is an incredibly good car to start with. The previous owner of nine years was fastidious, and I can’t wait to get the car out this season and start doing some trips… we’ve even got a child seat which fits too!

Feel so fortunate to be the custodian of these magnificent cars.

I once had the privilege of driving a DB4GT Zagato, early '80's, it was then, and still is now, the most valuable car I have ever driven. I think it is still with the same owner.
I haven’t personally driven it yet but my time will come. My father says it’s stunning! So focused and purposeful! The ultimate driving experience.MBeemerman said:
It's not a genuine Alpina more a look a likey.
It's running a m20 motor stroked out to 2.8L 230bhp and weighs just over 1tonne so she's quite lively
Even better - don't have to stick it away in a garage for fear of 'devaluing your investment' or something as daft. It's running a m20 motor stroked out to 2.8L 230bhp and weighs just over 1tonne so she's quite lively
Rather jealous, as you say with 230bhp and the back end of an E21 I should think it's enough to keep you busy!
