You may not believe it but those little quarterlights do a great job of rotating air within the car and keeping the screen and windows clear. True, the wipers are not fantastic and the four unnamed levers in the central console in theory should channel air to the screen but the quarterlights do a better job. OK, you might get cold knuckles but they do work.
For those who never saw the first Facel Vega, this is it, prototype Vega FV0002.

I have put a long list of chassis numbers on the two Facel sites on facebook. Facel Vega kept a full set of spare keys for every V8 Facel sold at the factory.I have these spare sets.I am slowly identifying the cars from the difficult to read labels. If your car is listed I have the factory spare keys [ Yes Bob your facel II is listed ] I will sell the original keys ONLY to the actual owners of the cars involved. [ obviously ] They are not going to be very expensive but they should now be with their cars.Contact me via facebook if you are interested.John Barton. The site is Facel Vega.

Finally after 10 years the Silver HK500 is fully restored and running great. I just need to run her in. The do look good together!
Well done Adam. Beaten me to the finishing post! The silver car looks great. Have you managed to wire the front fog lights as indicators, as they originally had?
Apologies for reviving this thread - well, not really - but did anybody get a pic of a Facel 11 at the Goodwood Revival this weekend? Apparently there was a left hooker there with a For Sale sign in the window. A friend saw it and was hoping to get a pic of it but he hasn't been back in touch, so I guess he failed. Anyone see it?
Not Facel II but the two HK500 above.
