Otis (lifts again) have a distribution warehouse in Reading.

Unfortunately, during my brief dalliance with the cosmetics industry I couldnt get Dunblane Mascara off the ground.

'OTIS', famous internationsal lift maker, have their UK headquaters in Reading, apparantly.

So yes, really, they answer the phones: "Otis, Reading".....

I was aware of the Schindlers Lifts.

The one that I don't know how they get away with it is the furniture shop called 'Sofa King'. Opens up to all sorts of tag lines like 'Sofa King good!' or the like!!

Schindlers lifts installed the lifts in a complex in Newcastle which my G/f's sister used to live in, strangely they were long and not that wide, kind of coffin shaped eek

Cracked me up the first time i noticed.

I often see tankers that go around emptying cesspits. The company is "Suck Cess".

Incidentally, we have Schindlers lifts in our buildings. I pointed it out to work colleagues when I started working here 6 years ago. Strangely, no one else had made the connection. They clearly lack the PH sense of humour.
