Problems with Friends Girlfriend

I told one of my mates that his wife was seeing someone else. I decided to tell him as several people had told me about it, and I felt I had to tell him, as I thought if he found out I knew and hadn't told him he'd be mighty pissed off.
However instead of which he stayed with his wife and I don;'t see of hear from him anymore.
So my approach would be to say and do nothing. I'd ignore her texts and she'll go away, but I wouldn't tell him!

I had a similar thing with my best mate years and years ago. I found out his girlfriend wasn't being faithful, told him. He barely spoke to me for months and stayed with her. Until one night we were all in a nightclub. He was there with his girlfriend who'd gone off on walkabout. We rounded a corner to find her with some guys hand up her top. Still don't regret telling him though. Thats what mates are for.

My ex cheated on me with one of my friends. Broke the entire group of about 6 friends up as each person had different loyalties.
But do you really wanna be the guy that his mates don't trust? This will extend to other areas of your life, "Well if he was capable of that, then what else is he capable of?" etc. It won't just be either girlfriends they don't trust you with.
What goes around comes around. Karma and all that!
Buy an MX5 and run her over. With your mate in the passenger side. It'll be like Thelma and Louise!

As you have no idea what it means to be a mate and unable to comprehend plenty-of-fish etc., I say go for it and do her. You'll probably do well together, until she takes a liking to another mate or another mate of yours gets a fit gf who comes on to you. A relationship of paranoia could be just want you need.
