As per my other post, we are considering moving to France.

Having recently started club motorsport in the UK, I am trying to gauge the options for doing this in France, albeit that based on reduced income stream it may be more limited. Appreciate any advice / direction to websites / clubs for me to find out more.

My current racing probably costs me about 5k per year based on a Renault Clio in an entry level series. I may need to consider low level karting also dependent on options.

Appreciate any advice you could pass on.

A good starting point to gauge what championships are available

Google Chrome is pretty good for automatically translating websites like this

I do tout terrain rallyes in France, two or three a year. A suitable car would probably trouble your budget, but most importantly they welcome us with open arms.

The attitude of the public and supporters is completely different to the UK. You got old ladies waving to you from their gardens as you race flat out through their village, it's quite bizarre.

Looks like awsome fun.

I have always loved rallying since I was a kid, never had a go myself but really must do so.

Yeah have been to Le Mans many times and always loved the fact that people are outside there houses in the villages waving as you drive by.

Hopefully now with the closed road legislation passed we should get to see more local rallies over here.
