My wife managed to get some from E Leclerc, downside is that it cost €7 smile

Anyone know where you can buy Papadums? We are organising a red-cross food parcel for a big box of Yorkshire Tea Red Label, but can’t imagine Papadums surviving the journey.

Make your own! We get our chickpea flour from Grand Frais, they taste so much better when they're fresh out of the pan.

Carrefour sell that - did not realise what they were made of.

In December, I was asking the waiter at the local Indian (England) and he said that they bought them in and they were made commercially by slices cut thinly from an extruded dough.

At the moment, travel as you describe is restricted to imperative family reasons or work related which needs to be documentable.

After May 11th travel up to 100km from your home will be allowed but the long distance travel still falls under the two restrictions currently in place.

It's going to change later in May / early June but this will be dependant on the level of corona in each department, some will be "green" with further reduced restrictions but those deemed "red" will remain locked down more firmly.

I think it's going to be after the summer before life returns to something approaching normal here.

Not before June at the earliest it appears.

Attestations end on 11 May, except for trips further than 100km. No travel outside your department except for work or important family reasons.
Everything depends on the numbers continuing to improve, but here's a clear summary of the latest plans announced on Tuesday: https://fr.news.yahoo.com/déconfinement-plan-...

You could see if you fit into one of the categories listed in the section for International travel to France. For the purpose, the UK is still part of the EU.

Monday’s speech by the PM did not provide any clarification as to when free travel will recommence. He only set 2 review dates of 2nd and 24th June after lockdown ends on 11th May.

I was hoping to be able to go out sometime mid-late May to pick my car up from Geneva and clear out my chalet as the lease expires today but that doesn’t look likely at the moment frown

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated!
And omg, what a ruddy nite mare this situation is !! Two trips I need to make, one is straight down from Calais, sth, to near Andorra and the other, is Calais, then straight into Belgium, then Luxembourg, briefly back into the eastern edge of France near Colmar, then south to Italy.

The French government is all over the place on this, unusual for them, but it may stick despite the French Twittersphere lighting up with understandably indignant comments. Watch this space...…..
