So I got bored, which made me start to think, which can be dangerous.
As we can't buy hand sanitiser, I started experimenting.....
Using burning alcohol ( alcool a bruler ) strangely available in Carrefour today which is 90 proof, I started at a 9:1 mix, alcohol to soap but it stung a bit.... 8:2 however worked rather well so I now have 2.5 litres mixed up!
Wait til week three and you'll be updating us on the right ratio to mix with Coke hehe

Exactly my thoughts after reading it hehe

Worryingly, I have a bottle of Ricard bought at Christmas for 'guests' might have to drink it myself now...and I hate the stuff...

First time out today.....1 checkpoint near Intermarche, going there got stopped and a cursory glance and an okay. Same checkpoint, different officer and a rather puzzled look at the "fait a' and date area then a begrudgingly said 'okay"
Had 1 Gendarmes car in the village today, a quick stop at the junction waiting for cars but not a soul in site.....5 mins later 4 or 5 in a couple of minutes.

So it seems that cycling is banned...or not..depending on where you look?
I'll be posting pics of my ride later in the pedal forum

Does cycling with a string of onions around your neck count as shopping?

So it appears essentially the main difference is a self written paper and being able to go cycling for leisure........think I"ll stay here and remain something like sane
