I have tried several times to create an account but the wretched system keeps telling me that I have made an error on the entry page. We have been in the system for twenty years this year so it's not as if we are unknown! I have entered my name with Christian name first and with surname first, the other details, DoB, postal code and SS number are immutable and unchanging but all I ever get is 'there are errors etc etc. Really Frustrating!!!
I had a problem signing in so I contacted the English speaking site and the sorted it for me.

I tried that too, just changed Aveyron to Aude and up it came - but it still says there is an error when I click enter! I'll ring the Doc on Tuesday.https://www.ameli.fr/aveyron/assure/english-pages
Thanks for the input, appreciated.

Things are beginning to take off, but the rolling 7-day figure to Saturday show a less than sustained effort day-to-day.
The worry now is the big number of sceptics who continue to refuse any vaccine. By surviving our AZ vaccination, we have now persuaded our cleaner, husband and her parents to have theirs. Perhaps word of mouth is a strategy that the Government should be pursuing, rather than keep chopping and changing.
We also know the guy in charge of electrical services at the CHU in Angers. He is 50 and was given the AZ vaccine a few weeks ago, but now cannot have a second, despite the fact that he would be quite happy to. So he is now going to get a dose of something else for which there have been no trials or known efficacy.
Sorry, but that is a totally made up story. To vaccinate someone in France with a non trialed product is impossible. That is the reason for French people not wanting the vaccine as most of them feel the trial period for the covid vaccines haven't met a long enough period. Vaccinating a person with a product with no trial is completely against the law (in France) . The worry now is the big number of sceptics who continue to refuse any vaccine. Sorry Mike I should have said I rang the number on the site and they were very helpful in sorting my problem.
Ah, will try that on Monday then, thanks for your assistance Harry, much appreciated.ps: If that works I will be back to ask you how to get my new Titre de Sejour which, despite having applied 19 October and receiving the official acknowledgement and emailing the Prefecture last month has progressed not one inch!

I now have my third Titre de Sejour!
I had applied and received my second 10 year one when we got a sniff of the Brexit coming in the pipeline.
I was asked to pick up my new Titre de Sejour from the Prefecture and have my finger prints taken again at the same time.
Where as my neighbour, who has lived here just about 5 years and had a recent 5 year carte only had to re-apply,as thier info and dossier was more recent and received the new card by post.
There seems to be no set pattern when receiving the Carte.

Well, I rang the helpline this afternoon and the very nice lady said she couldn't help as they don't have access to my records, I must see my doctor!! I guess that will be another two hours surrounded by coughing and sneezing, I'm loosing the will to live!!rdjohn said:
I had my 2nd AZ jab at my Doctor’s surgery last Wednesday. He only gets 10 doses per week for a lunchtime session, so it is pretty quiet and easy to get a RDV using Doctolib.
Our vaccine centre is only doing Moderna and Pfizer and there are lots of people around there.
This may be the reason why. Our vaccine centre is only doing Moderna and Pfizer and there are lots of people around there.
From https://www.gov.uk/government/news/vaccines-highly...
B.1.617.2 = Indian variant, B.1.1.7 = UK variant.
the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was 88% effective against symptomatic disease from the B.1.617.2 variant 2 weeks after the second dose, compared to 93% effectiveness against the B.1.1.7 variant
2 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine were 60% effective against symptomatic disease from the B.1.617.2 variant compared to 66% effectiveness against the B.1.1.7 variant
