In France:
First couple of places were ok, just , with Uk paper certs, but that was just at their discretion.
reluctantly had to download nhs app to get the qr code thing.
All restaurants and hotels asked for it.
Their French app scanned it in fine and recognised as being 2jags, so all fine.

Had the car searched leaving Portsmouth, and a very quick look by douane at St Malo.
You do need a hard copy of the declaration you have no covid symptoms to leave for France. Thought we could fill the form in the tour anticovid app, but it's not the case. The check in people were prepared and gave us a blank sheet.
Scanned NHS app QR codes into Tous anticovid app no problems. Used in restaurants and to leave UK fine.
Travelling back to UK tomorrow. No upload of test docs for the PLF set up yet.
The Mrs is French so rang a few pharmacies and sorted us out with the tests.
Got my British covid paperwork, test result and PLF printed. Sure it will go smoothly.
