Don't know it, or of it..... there are too many overpriced pubs in Basel IMHO..
open to any suggestions...

John, the South is a bit too far away from me, unless I'd be there anyway, in which case I shall let you know.

In my experience, there is NO low-price restaurant/bar/kneipe in Switzerland at all! Pizza in a rural Pizzeria was SFr18 (DM22) when the same cost DM7 in Germany!!
