>> Dear participants of the past Continental Meetings in Zolder,
>>
>> This year we organised for the 36th time the Continental Meeting on
>> the Zolder Circuit. Again a very successful day according to the
>> participants; beautiful weather, competitive lap times, little
>> damage, here or there some baffled ego's because a TVR has it's
>> limits too.
>>
>> For the organisers ( Wim Wielaard and team) and the participants a
>> very successful day with hardly any significant problems and very
>> positive participants who promised to return in 2018. One element was
>> very disappointing: the number of registrations particularly from the
>> Dutch TVR Car Club. Less then 20 full program registrations were
>> noted. The overall declining number of full program participants is
>> unfortunately a confirmation of an existing trend over the last
>> couple of years.
>> Although the number of international participants did not really
>> decrease, basically our home base is not supporting the event by full
>> program participation.
>>
>> For above reasons the financial results were worse compared to last
>> year and the year before. Cancelling the whole a month before event
>> was not an option. The show had to go on, with the expected negative
>> financial results.
>> These results do not justify a next Continental Meeting in 2018,
>> despite how sorry we feel about this situation. Whether a 2019
>> version will be organized is not yet really clear.
>>
>> We thank Wim Wielaard, Marieke and Emile, Erwin and Matthijs for
>> their enormous efforts in organizing this great event. We thank them
>> and all volunteers over the last years who made the CM so great
>> together with the participants!
>>
>> The board of the Dutch TVR Car Club wil discuss this decision with
>> all members at the annual meeting next February.
>>
>> regards, Dick Westerveld
>>
>> chairman of the Dutch TVR Car Club
>> on behalf of the board

That is really sad ! It would have been my 8th CM and the german "chapter" was growing again.
Is this the last word or is there a small chance for a CM in 2018 ?

Very sad to hear

Car events don't get any more fun than the TVRCC NL Zolder meeting

I really wish I hadn't missed 2017, but unfortunately the car was on axle stands
