Car 43 is a Porsche albeit a 993 - good point though.

Plenty of time to enter if you have a car and the budget -- JT will welome you with open arms (metaphorically speaking!!)

There will be a Porsche, a 996 GT3 Cup car in class 3.

We are down as car 8 (Mosler) in class 1 at the moment, but changed this a while back, Britcar are aware and are in the process of updating this and other changes to the entry list.

It is a shame about the entry levels in GT 1 & 2 but fully understandable when you work out how much it costs to run these more powerful cars, hence the reason we reverted to class 3. The Mosler is owned by our Spanish team mates who want to race it in 2011 and we have spent all this season sitting things out and getting very frustrated through lack of involvement so that we can afford to upgrade to class 2 or even class 1 next season. We had hoped to sell our 996 before now but the race car market is somewhat tricky at present, very little money about !!! We do have our eye on a really superb looking Porsche, definitely class 2 but probably class 1 if the performance figure prove to be right bounce

Yeah will just have to hope the tvr, aquilla and corvette are reliable as would be great to watch through the night although lack of running this year not sure how they'll do but good luck guys. Class 3 can't wait for, overall podium for the class winner I'm reckoning bring it on. Any idea of a timetable yet anywhere?

Typical, found this on the BRSCC site, why the hell is it not on the Britcar site if it's agreed, says it's issue 3 dated 13/09/2010 wobble

Looks a decent entry and very open in the less point and squirt classes.

Myself and the old TJH Motorsport crew (now at mostly at Piranha Motorsport) are really going to miss it badly frown but we simpy don't have a suitable car. The Honda is in Dubai and the Lotus whilst plenty fast enough and very reliable is not a good a 24hr car IF something goes wrong (as it always will).

If anyone wants any help or advise please give me a shout.

Simon - hi. Coincidentally was just looking at your laptimes from 2008 - quite frankly it is some relief that you are not racing!!

Some of your long sequences of laps within 2 or 3 seconds of your fastest lap time are a benchmark for all of us competing - get anywhere near that consistency and we will be well chuffed.

Come and say hello, car 72 and we think garage 3A

Simon,

I am based in Dubai and noted that your Honda is here (must be enjoying the sunny weather!!!!). Where is the car and will it be used in the UAE Touring Car Championship which starts the week after the BritCar 24 hr race?

Seem to be "read only" so can't copy and paste. I was able to access and print the timetable and garage plan but couldn't print the entry list, hopefully slightly better as a driver then computer bod, so others may offer more refined advice hehe

They're PDF or Excel files, so you need the correct "reader"

It is a bit sad only 2 Porsches in a 24 hour race and ours is a bit of a relic being a 993 but good to hear you are there Rod , we are being team managed by Hugh Marshall old mate of yours possibly..

Mark Sumpter at Paragon has been racing in Porsche Club during 2010 in a 911 Carrera 3.2

What little I know of his 2008 B24 drive - he would need mighty deep pockets to come out this year in the RSR assuming he could not find a co-sponsor.
