Oh dear. There's a reason why Lotus don't supply or fit a rear spoiler to an Elise, and this is it. I think it's something to do with it being a soft-top in contrast to the Exige which looks simply stunning with its rear wing and stubby rear end.

Errrr correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't this already been seen on british cars called something like TVR?

Erm, I think you will find that the diffuser was published in the original MY2000 S2 Elise brochure but Lotus decided not to make it at that time (they have now with the 111S).

Think I agree about the roof, but the aero kit makes it look more aggressive. Would give the spoiler a miss though...

PS: Can you see the photographers reflection, ar$e in the air

mmmmmmmm - the only non Lotus bit seems to be the slight changes to the front end and the spoiler - not to sure would need to see it in the flesh.

I actually reckon it looks not half bad. Might be a little OTT, but in black it seems to suit it.

I'll get me coat

Mmm... Rear spoiler restricts access to the limited luggage space that is available. I'm not so sure you'd get the lid open anyway from looking at the rear side view. Nice Idea not for me...

Never one to go along with the crowd - I like it - although I think you would need a decent top speed (150 +) to make use of it...

If you want an Exige why not just get one rather than turning the elise into a replica - add a hard top and you are pretty much there.

A spoiler on an Elise would add to its Aerodynamics however a spoiler like that would really hamper rear view.
The car looks ok but you cant really see it with its black paint
PUT IT IN A LIGHT COULOUR SO WE CAN SEE THE LESS OBVIOUS CHANGES
THE ELISE LOOKS PERFECT DONT SPOIL IT

LOVE IT! Not to sure on the Exige style rear wing.
Would much rather see one like on the SE's or V8's but not as high.
