The big Elise/Exige picture thread
Discussion
My Komotec EX460 posted a couple of pages back but since had the road wheels done as below.. Both sets of my track wheels (wet and dry) are satin black but thought I would try something else on these. It's all a bit wild but what the hey, it's (mostly) a track car. :-)

I'd be tempted to go yellow to match the stripes on one set.
Yellow track wheels would be destroyed in one track day mate. You would never get them clean ever again, thats why my track wheels are both black. My car runs performance friction pads, they give off a fair bit of dust so even for road wheels I stayed dark and ceramic coated them before fitting.I had red wheels on one of my race cars once. Looked great at the first race meet, never looked the same again. Bit brash too (hahaha, he says with that Exige).
Staying on the wheel theme.
BC Forged RZ05s I bought in lockdown last year, finally fitted to the Cup.
Specs as follows:
Brushed Dark Black (a dark clear tint)
Front: 8"x17" ET24 w. centre-drop - 8.3kg
Rear: 10"x18" ET30 no centre-drop - 9.4kg
As per above post, as the car is mainly a track car on Performance Friction pads, I sealed them with GTechniq C5 before fitting. Another reason I finally replaced the cast wheels is I bedded in a new set of rears on a wet trackday a year ago (despite completig 100+ road miles prior, they really need a pasting to fully bed), this ended in the wheels having horrible bedding-in deposits welded to them.

V6 Cup at Scammonden Dam hill climb.
Awesome I used to do hillclimbs in a fully prepped mini many years ago and was thinking only the other day how my Exige would fare on some of the shorter, narrower hills like Scammonden and Baitings... I was kept very busy with only about 110hp in something small, imagine its quite eye-opening in an Exige?!

Some lovely Exige pics there
Back to Empire Green for a moment - looks like a Sport 380 pops up a few times in this vid in that colour:

Need to keep your eyes peeled, but looks good in a 'subtle' Exige with a big wing and howling V6 kind of way if that is possible
