Fatwomble, how are you finding the 1.6? I am always thinking about getting an Elise, and find myself drawn to the smaller engine. My reasoning is that it's possible to have more fun at sane speeds. What are your experiences?

That may be true, but Plod generally disapprove of insane speeds biggrin I really think there is a market for the 1.6 Elise and similar cars, where you can really push the car without the fear of risking your liberty if you attract the attention of the boys in blue. In this age of the 300-350bhp hot hatch, something with less power but more interaction is much more my cup of tea.

Obviously if somebody happened to give me the keys to a V6 Exige, I wouldn't turn it down biggrin

Very nice. Great article in this month's Evo magazine about this Elise. Strange that the Elise can take these lairy colours. Any other car, except maybe a Lamborghini would just look wrong. I think I'd christen it the 'Snot Rocket" biggrin

Despite the fact it's only a roof apart on the s2 (on the surface at least) - I always thought the lairy colours always suited the exige (from the s1 to the s3) and yet the Elise's look a bit awkward in those shades and suit something more conservative.
