I've said it before, and I'll say it again: that's lovely smile

Dan Trent tweeted a few days ago about that Elise Sprint we were talking about on your Readers' Cars thread. Apparently he can't say anything just yet, but the vibe I got is that he quite liked it.

Thanks!

The Pistonheads FB page had a walkaround video of the new sprint, from what you said about the tweet and the video looks like they might of done a full video road test. Hope so anyway.

My Chargecooled K20 - the wing is a bit marmite, my other half calls it a pre-midlife crisis laugh

It is at least a proper job and mounted to the chassis.

Well, the review is up, and it's seems as good as we'd hoped biggrin

It does look good, that gear mech is spot on. Cracking little car.

Tis indeed. Formerly owned by a PHer. There was a reader's car thread about the build and spec. Cracking colour I think - has real depth to it.

Don't suppose you have a link to that build thread?

Yes it's Chris's old car. Its condition is an absolute credit to him too. The extra effort that went into the special touches (like the alcantara steering wheel) make the car feel that little bit different. I've taken the car to Snetterton and Silverstone GP so far and Bedford is next. Anyone who owns an Exige V6 who is contemplating tracking it - all I can say is - do it! Very competent even straight out of the box. My only change so far is to fit the towing eye from the Exige V6 Cup, which is a simple enough mod even for somebody as inept with a spanner as me. smile

Chris's original thread is here:

I was in the garage just down from you at Silverstone that day (35) - that colour is even better in the flesh. Lovely.
