Esthi 2.7

So you're looking for more power and you'd like a conversion from an approved Lotus dealer. Will 380 horses suffice? German Lotus dealer Brandes Dschuedow is offering such an option with its Audi powered Elise. It's no quick engine swap though. This Elise is broader, it's longer, it's got large Oz wheels. It sports extra cooling vents and a plexi-glass engine cover which reveals the mighty Audi 2.7 litre Twin Turbo motor.

Named the 'Esthi', the pumped up Elise is turning heads in Germany and has impressed Lotus in the UK too. An engine supply sufficient for up to thirty cars has been promised and the extreme Elise will no doubt turn heads around Europe in the months to come. Price is around 95,000 Euros (almost £60,000).

Stevenrt,

Don't you get out much :-) It's German.

See www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=12383&f=15&h=0 for a "translation".

Would look better in black without all the extra vents. Good alternative to an ultima though. The audi specialists reguarly chip the RS4 unit to over 500bhp too.
