The inside windscreen of my 2012 Elise SC is constantly dirty , covered in a film that looks like condensation but is not , it smears of ok with a wipe but it’s a ball ache , much worse in hot weather , winter it doest so it ! It’s like the dashboard is outgassing but it’s 6 years old FFS and there is no smell ! Any suggestions to stop it ??

sounds like a broken heater system...coolant of some sort on the inside of the window...

I don’t think it’s my shoes or the heater , I can clean it, leave the car without getting in it or starting it then return 3 days later and it’s back, it can just be mine ? Or maybe it is

Or the mats. I’d certainly take everything out that you can for a while in case it’s something like that.

Got a brand new volvo v90 with same issue. I leave the car several days and come back and the inside of the screen is dirty

Every elise I've had has been the same. Usually notice it on a sunny morning. Will drive away, 30 seconds later cannot see out of the windscreen.

I think it is a known issue in hotter countries, when the dash gets hot it vents/gasses off something which then leaves a film on the inside of the windscreen.
