I have the Elise as a daily driver for when the TVR is broken or when I'm feeling poor (which is quite often). And a Jaguar XKR for when the Lotus is broken. If all three are broken I cry about the repair bills and then beg the wife to do chauffeur duty in the Range Rover. We've not worked out what happens next, but it's beginning to remind me about the song about an old woman and a fly, and that didn't end too well for her.

2007 Fiesta Zetec-S for work, Octavia vRS Estate for family (wifes daily), Evora 400, Elise S1 and V12 Vantage S for fun, with the Evora 400 intended as being for family trips once our boy is big enough for a forward-facing seat.

C63 estate, Triumph 675 in town, or the wife’s disco sport.

Quite fancy getting an UP! Gti for nipping around, but I live and work in the same street, so I don’t really have a valid excuse for that......

I used both my Lotii as only cars. RGB for just over a year and 13k miles and now a Sport 350 for 7 months and 6k miles. Looking to swap back to an RGB or similar and still use it as a daily rofl

Personal opinion is the S2 perhaps warrants a daily driver but the V6 is more than happy with daily use, everything else is boring.

Freelander 2 which has had it’s issues, about £3k worth, luckily under a LR warranty. Also my wife has a R56 Mini Cooper. To go with my 111S S2. So I think a nice range to choose from.

An Evora, so much so the Elise has only done 64 miles this year frown oh and for the rest of this week the Mrs 330e.

With regard to OP question Mk5 Gti would be perfect. Wife had a new one in 2005, loved it.

Dont laugh......................

A 2005 1.5 Nissan Almera. it has 146k on it. Doesnt get washed very often, i have cut the sound deadening out of the floor and cut the carpet down the middle (there was a leak and it drys much faster now). Its fairly clean on the inside.

It just keeps passing its MOT, was very cheap, and you know what.......... i love it! when it dies, i might buy another.

That little 160sr was a very under rated car. I had one for 18m back in 2005.

I love it to bits. I had one new when I was 19 hence being aware of the car’s talents-even better value now!

It used to be a CL63 and a mk1 Freelander, now it's an ML63 and the same Freelander.

They all have their strengths and I love them all
