The E class has gone to be replaced by a 335d GT.

I figured it with the Dragy the other day - it’s quicker to 60 than the Lotus, if you use the launch control. Four wheel drive probably helps.

Running an A110 as my daily and an Elise 220 for weekends.

Love having a very modern and also a more raw solution to the same driver involvement question.

Lotus is never a daily for me, but sometimes the A110 gets the weekend to

have to admit I daily something boring. but I also recently added a Chimp to complement the Elise.
It replaced the Evora, which was excellent and couldn't really fault. But...the Elise is THE best sports car, despite a massive power deficit. The TVR is a V8 open top and totally different and so works really well with the Elise.

Ooooh don't be letting the TVR guys hear you calling it a Chimp and not a Chim!

Back many moons ago when I had a Chim, a mate of mine threw me the keys to his S1 Elise. I promptly sold the Tiv and an Elise was in the garage a few weeks later.

Same here, running a 2011 Audi TT tdi with 182k miles and an E46 BMW 330Ti for the lovely sound it makes... Alongside a slightly tuned Elise S1.

I absolutely love not caring about cheap daily cars, makes the Lotus feel that much more special, and the Lotus makes the TT feel like a big wafty machine!
I have neither at the mo due to circumstances, but had planned on replacing my Aston with a V6 Exige which then meant I had left an old CLK cabrio as a daily. That plan stalled and then went sideways when the Merc stretched its timing chain and is now scrapped. Keep looking at Audi A5 cabs and the diesel engine is attractive for the RFL and the fact they don't seem to have an issue with high miles. Tempted by the 2.0 tdi thinking at 100k at purchase its not even really begun life.

That was how I became a PHer funnily enough. Was first introduced to the TVR car club. Went along to a meet and the beards were tedious beyond belief. Followed by a ‘drive’ that was at such a processional pace I gave up midway, overtook the 6 cars to the front and promptly fooked off home, vowing never to return. Which I didn’t. Someone then mentioned a PH run as an alternative and intrigue got the better of me.

Still wonder about a Tuscan as a fun piece. Despite what I say on here about lotus, there are small parts of me that fancies a TVR again for a year or two.

I’m terribly sorry.
You can’t just say that and not offer gratuitous imagery.
