hello, did you get the harnesses? how were they? I'm curious, to see if I ask for one or not.
Not yet. They are arriving with GSM on Tuesday apparently, so in theory they will be with me on the Thursday of next week. Gotta say, it's unlikely I'll order from GSM again. I know there have been delays with Brexit and Covid, but other suppliers have had more than one delivery so far and the reviews / public opinion would suggest that this is a common theme at GSM. Nearly 9 weeks I'll have waited if they come next Thursday. ecain63 said:

Second image is the passenger side. I've only placed the seats in there for the purposes of this post, but it does appear that the hoop on the bar does make this hole a bit more obstructed than the drivers side. I think there's still enough room for the Schroth 3" straps but we'll only know when we fit them.
I asked Dave of Seriously Lotus directly if there was any issues and he said no. If there is an issue when it comes to fitting the harnesses then I'll certainly put it to him.
In my 410 the driver's seat goes further back than the fixed passenger seat and it doesn't look like there is a great deal of room for a harness bar, I have to have the seat fully back just to fit in.
Thanks.

Update time:
So, finally we're at the end of the wait (2 months) for these bloomin' Schroth harnesses...... It's a good thing we're not in the middle of track season eh!
But, before that, I did some other stuff before fitting them
After seeing another owner have theirs fitted last week I decided to get hold of an AiM reversing / mirror camera.
I then set about fitting it
One of the biggest fiddles is screwing the external trim on through the bumper and on to the threaded camera housing. Ideally you'd want to take off the undertray and trim..... but who does "ideally"?
It comes pre wired for both mirror image and reversing camera, so you need to cut the one you don't want. Even when I knew I had cut the correct one I still worried I'd cocked it up lol
Next up I stripped the dash and plugged it in to check it still worked:
And then back together:
And the moment of truth:
With that working as it should the wiring needs routing through the car. This was an epic! It was a pain to find a decent route through the dash and also the central tunnel and trim all had to come out.
And refitted:
Eventually it was routed to the grommet at the base of the rear bulkhead where the battery cables run through into the engine bay / rear clam. I've pushed it through a couple of inches and that's all for now. I'm getting my handy tech at Lotus Poole to pull it through the rest of the way because he has more experience doing that sort of thing. Apparently there's a cavity there that is a bit of a bugger to negotiate.
Just as I was finishing the install the harnesses arrived.
Easy bits on first: You can see where the cable for the camera is routed to. Hopefully it's not too difficult to pull through with the seats etc reinstalled. It was quite a fiddle making sure the cable didn't get trapped under the seat base.
I didn't take any more pics of the seats etc going back in as it was an absolute pig getting the bolts into the holes in the floor. There's less room on the drivers side too (harness bar restriction) and getting the bolts in at the front of the base was a huge amount of fun lol. The belts were a piece of cake to fit to the seats themselves and you only need to remove the spring and replace with a wavey washer on the buckle sides of the standard belts if you want to keep the stock belts in as well.
And that was that. An 11pm finish last night getting the belts and seats in. Today the roof went back on and we had a bit of a tidy up. I'll be in to the dealer next week to finish off the routing of the camera cable and they can also check I've tightened everything up right.

The seat now has about 3/4" less rear travel than it used to. It's only 1 notch away from what you could achieve previously, but it's still reduced. It's an unfortunate side effect of having the carbon seats. It's not going to affect my usage, even at 6ft, but I can imagine for some long hags it'llbe a pain.
Thanks for the info! Doesn't sound like you lose too much. Edited by ecain63 on Friday 19th February 20:41
I'm just waiting on some new seat brackets to be made that tilts the seat 5 degrees to gain a bit of head height so will see what I'm left with before ordering harnesses.
Does look good with them in though!

Love the red harnesses, they look great.
Are you going to cut the wire for the reversing camera guidelines? They don’t seem suitable for when the camera is mounted lower down like that.
Not yet. I'll try it out in a carpark next week and see if it's any good. If it's not I'll snip that too. Are you going to cut the wire for the reversing camera guidelines? They don’t seem suitable for when the camera is mounted lower down like that.

This appears to be the best harness to buy as they are made to suit the Lotus setup. The ASM technology makes them a good safety choice too. On paper they are perfect.
So no problem with this:"Hello
The bar will fit the car but you can only use the drivers side harnesses. Due tochanges in the carbon seat hole spacing the passenger seat harness gets twisted as it passes through the seat
Hope this helps
Regards"
