390 Sport, 420 Sport 430 Cup final editions just announced. No pricing or spec yet..... not officially anyway lol
I don't doubt it really, but having pricing and specs makes it "real".390 Sport, 420 Sport 430 Cup final editions just announced. No pricing or spec yet..... not officially anyway lol
If you need to order before you know what you're buying, what are you really buying, kinda thing.
I'm also confused by the "390". I'd have thought the last Exige V6 cars would all be 430-spec, either in race or touring models. The 390... I don't get.
I would like to know what they'll weigh too, given people's references to removal of sound-deadening (is there any?!)

Price list isn't public until next week. You could probably have a conversation with your friendly dealer though. If you need to order before you know what you're buying, what are you really buying, kinda thing.

£80k basic price for the 420 final edition, which includes aim dash as standard, some final edition stickers and a new gun metal/grey type wheel colour choice. Seats wont have colour choices but stitching will be final edition bespoke. Apart from that there isn’t much different to current 410, every option available as extra including the carbon extras.

Wait til the price list is published. There's elements of your comment that don't tally with what Lotus have printed. ecain63 said:

Which elements?
AiM is still a cost option. It's a good bit cheaper than buying after, but still a cost item. For interests sake, the battery looks to be a standard item on the 420 too and not a lithium. Edited by ecain63 on Friday 5th February 15:14
I waited until I had more info and then decided the final edition wasn’t special enough, I’ve decided to get one of the last 20th anniversaries

Fair comment. However, for a "final" edition if they gave it 30 to 40 more bhp and associated torque (if Komo-Tec can, Lotus certainly can) , plus wider wheels/tyres, now that would be impressive and would look even better.
If it's just yet another paint job and a bit of wood here and there - no thanks !
Except Lotus have to provide a warranty... Komo-Tec don't.If it's just yet another paint job and a bit of wood here and there - no thanks !
Sure, you can get the extra power, but when you're a mainstream manufacturer, you have to account for people running st fuel, bad air filters perhaps.

Also - do Komotec pass emissions testing in the UK? Lotus have to, in all their markets.
Lotus also have to type certify for a pretty wide range of atmospheric conditions that I'd doubt komotec have.
There are a lot of differences between OEM testing and tuner testing.
