Hi all,

I am trying to complete the restoration of my 1972 Series 4 Lotus Seven, and seem to be taking one step forward and two back on every task I do!!.

I have finally refitted the back axle and rear suspension which has all been restored with new bushes and refurbished Shocks/ springs.

A couple of questions : I cannot see any detail anywhere on the correct orientation for the rubber bushes that attach to the spaceframe for the front trailing arms to connect to ? I think I have done them correctly but not sure. Also when looking at the Differential from the wheel arch it looks to be slightly angled backwards and when I attached the prop shaft this had to be pulled rearward a couple of inches to mate up with the diff . As the axle is held exactly in position with the forward and rear trailing arms this must be correct ?, it was so long ago when I removed it I cant remember!

How does the handbrake cable attach to the rear N/S wheel , again I forgot to take a phoo before dismantling ages ago and I cannot find any details anywhere as to the correct way to attach..help!!

Any photos would be much appreciated...
