I was looking through my manual the other night and I am sure I read that there should be an internal cockpit light just under the dash - is this true as mine either isn't there or isn't working.
I have a race-tech S2, and I do have a light. Frankly, I wish I hadn't. It is ill-fitted and ill-finished, and I am counting the days until it breaks. Like the speedo unit did, just before I picked it up. And the door fixings for the total waste of time that is the alcantara trim.
I do have to say that the internal light is really just a joke. I can't think of a more awkward, less useful place they could have put it to be honest. Plus the fact is I didn't know I had a light until it came to the service and they put a light bulb in it!!
Just found this old thread - And wow, after 12 months I have found the internal light. As you say it's not the best. In case anyone else is wondering where the light is its kind of by the "heater" control.
