Was hoping to get to the Red Bull thing in Carlow, but still no word from them on tickets. This could be a goer.

Mondello it is then. Now to round up the troops. although the double header in Croker looks good this Sunday.

One or the other, will probably go myself on Saturday anyway, have never seen the BTCC before. Tickets for the match will be tough at this stage though.

Check under "Events". BTAP (Black Tie & Pie) is the annual Pistonheads ball scheduled for somewhere in the Midlands at the end of November.

Don't thing the g/f would be impressed if I tried to dress it up as a "weekend in the country".

Mondello it is, although it'll have to be saturday. Can't make head nor tale of the Mondello website, does anyone know if it'll be worth it on the saturday? Whats going on? etc, etc.

Bored today, so went to have a look. It PI$$ED rain the majority of the day. The BMW single seaters couldn't even go straight on the straight .

All the qualifying sessions were stop start, red flag, green flag, etc.... only 3-4 laps would go by without a red flag until the end of the BTCC qualifyers and the porsche supercup boys who didn't go off once.

Have some pics, will post them tomorrow. I'll hopefully have some sunny pics then!

Not a sign of them It's MONDELLO ffs .

Saturday was horrible weather. I don't think I've seen rain in Ireland that heavy in a long long time.

Sunday was cold, so they all wrapped up, and at the start of the races I was miles away to get a photo. After that I walked the pits and paddock and didn't see any. Must have all been up in the corporate boxes .Need to figure out how to blag my way up there.
