Finally got around to fitting the tyres at MacCann's today. Was pretty impressed with his no B.S. approach.I have to bed the tyres in for about 100kms before getting them set up .. Will let y'all know how it goes ...

On a different subject , got my major service done in Agnew Porsche , Belfast , this week. Have to say their attention to detail was excellent, not to mention managing to persuade them to get my car back on Porsche warranty !! As an aside , they tell me my R.M.S. is perfect ... after 47k miles .. The relief of it all!!!

Ballcock, have you had the tyres set up yet? Are you happy with the results? I think I'm going to have to invest in new boots soon and was wondering how you got on.

Afraid to say , Mark , that I haven't had a chance to drop the car back in for set-up ... Have to do it soon or it'll be more new tyres!!
A friend of mine has got his 993 c4s tyres set up there tho , and he's very happy with the results.

Hi Ballcock, how does your friend like the C4S? Was out in the GT last week. What a machine!

Baz.

John says you're to leave me alone!!! (Ha ha)
Glad to hear you're takin life 'easy'!!
The two guys I know with the 993 c4s's are mad into them alright , but that said they both have them as second cars. They do look the business,
all depends on your cup o tea so to speak.

On a different note , I finally got around to setting up the tyres in mc Cann's today .. I must say I was mega impressed .The time and trouble that they went to , to make sure everything was perfectly aligned isn't something you see often in Ireland today. I'd highly recommend him. (For the record , I've absolutely no connection with the business)

Yeah, whoever designed the electrics has a lot to answer for, my weak point! I'd be buying the C4/2S as a second car too. Wouldn't mind getting a look at their C4's later on. Sounds like you're enjoying yours.
