Probably left it a bit late for advice but I have to be in Galway for 0830 in the morning (saturday, and have to take the cerby cos wifey needs the other car, hehe!) leaving from Hillsborough in the North - any thoughts - should I go through Dub or Sligo, also thoughts for way back on Sat night leaving Galway at 5pm should I go direct route throung Cavan and stuff, or sligo or dub??
Just realised the time, prob need some sleep soon, if i'm getting up at 5ish.
Advice on road from Dub to Galway much appreciated (can do Dublin Airport in 90 mins easy).
cheers

Sorry mate . It was St. Patricks Day yesterday (Friday). Not many knocking around in here unfortunatly. If it's any consolation.... SLIGO WTF?????? I take it you were ferrying in from Belfast then!

Hope you had a good day, at least the roads should have been empty enough .

Edit: Fell asleep there! Just looked at your profile and you're from NI. Sligo it is then .

Sorry, not quite awake yet .

Garth, Hope you had a good trip, sorry not to have seen you in Killarney.
I will be in NI in late June getting the valet I bought from Trevor at auction three years ago!
Hope to catch up then,
Cheers CwC (David).

Indeed Ireland was asleep on Saturday morning, it made me feel great about being up and about on the roads at 6am!

Had a great run down to Galway yesterday morning, don't think I saw another car on the road for the first two hours! It took a lot longer coming back last night while the rugby was on (3hr 40mins) I can recommend the route through Armagh, Monaghan, Athlone - 380mile round trip. The cerb was perfect for the run, some real good twisty bits from Armagh to Clones.

And sorry we couldn't make it to Killarney last week, I'll catch up with you in June then David.

cheers
