Thought I would start this thread as I am trying to work out which upgrades are best value for money (bang 4 buck).. Any experience or suggestions are welcome.

Have a look at the modified Speed 6 Wiki. That will help a lot with what is actually out there. Costs - easy to do with a google. smile

Are you looking for engine max power or torque, for a quicker time a to b, for better lap times, etc. etc?

What engine have you got

Budget ?

Then the fun begins on which road you want to go down

I am up to £16K on engine and looking at new MBE another £3K

I could add air box £1k

Exhaust £3k

Although, due to its better structural properties a lot less likely to deform causing air leaks.

Currently running a std 3.6 with sports exhaust. Going to get the 4.3 when the time comes + new ECU. So I could do the ECU before the 4.3.

You could, but it would need remapping with every additional change. Save up and do it all together.

Get engine first yes ideally ECU at the same time as they can set it up for the 4.3 but if you are on a budget get engine first

Apparently there is still a good market for kidneys, if you need to dump some cash into your slush-fund smile

Enough for an airbox, manifold, cat-back system and possibly ECU.

You'll have to sell something else to pay for the lump too! smile

Its not always about going quicker, so get yourself better brakes from Brummie - so you can brake later/stop quicker. Bargain performance IMO.
