Right, car back at last. It had a standard rebuild with new cams, valves, rings, hone, big ends, mains, crank regrind, deck skim, head skim, followers, oil mods etc etc plus new clutch, slave, g/box mounts, starter motor and some other bits.

19psi on idle after 2 hours of hot driving so well pleased. Just got to run it in now!

Yes it looks like it ! I’ll just need to heed the running in and get the 1000 miles on it sharpish. It’s not handling brilliantly which apparently is the rear shocks which are original and I’m recommended to go for Bilstein Sports (?). I happen to have another set of OE rears I’ll put on in the next week if I get a chance and see if it makes any difference. Anyone tried the Bilsteins? I’m not into nitro or fancy stuff like that...

I’ve only got one arm and one leg left, but it was worth it!

You can live without those, the pain subsides after awhile honest.
Yeah but you should have many years of safe pleasure now so it’s well worth it.
