I have an oil leak from what I think is the oil pressure switch. It's in the drivers side inner wing under the air filter. Assuming I can order a replacement part from Blackpool. Just wanting to know it is the correct part. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a common problem. Had the same thing on mine a while back.

Exactly the same symptoms, cured with a new sensor - about 18 quid I think.

Bit of a job getting hold of them at the mo'.....see www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=191697&f=13&h=0

Guess I'll have to let it leak for a while.
Thanks.

Hi
I have a brand new one if you want it. I brought it to check my existing one but no longer needed. It was only fitted for five minutes.
You can have it for £20.00 inc postage and you can pay through paypal if you wish.

I heard the latest batch of these were often faulty & gave false readings... may be why they're hard to get right now? Could have been withdrawn???

I reckon they're cursed actually!

My new one didn't leak, or give dodgy readings, but it did affect the traction control and the steering....and it makes lamp posts jump out in front of you
