Speed six occasional popping from o/s exhaust pipe issue

I’m new to speed six engined cars.
A company I know has a Tamora and I feel compelled to help look after it.
It’s used on tracks so in its natural environment to some extent.
On tickover it pops from r/h side tail pipe.
Doesn’t appear to misfire and power seems good and overrun is ok, nice few pops and bangs down at around 1700 revs etc. Engine runs and sounds very quiet from any mechanical noises, super impressed.
De cat I think because it’s loud.
I’ll get to know more about it in time so bare with me.
What diagnostics tools can I obtain and any pointers please. Thanks.
