As for never using an independent, what a load of old tosh, most independents are as good if not better than main dealers, you only have to read the threads on here to see that and besides a large number of independents used to main dealers anyway!

You go and part exchange a newish TVR with non main dealer service history and see what response you get.

Knowing how desperate a main dealer would be (or should be) to sell a new car they are being very narrow minded if they are concerned about non-franchised service history, if they are then they need to join us in the real world. I suspect it is an excuse to try and hide the horrific depreciation...

I sold my 26 month old Tuscan back to the dealer for over 80% of cost, which is not horrific depreciation. Lady Topaz did even better. My dealer then retailed it out with a profit. He did tell me that they always mark down, and indeed are reluctant to buy, cars without full TVRSH and I don't blame them, given the sophisticated mechanicals.

You don't mention what you drive puff? I suspect from your profile and your troll type posts that you are a junior salesman for a lowly brand, Kia perhaps or possibly Ssangyong who for some reason likes to attempt mud slinging in the direction of Blackpool?

Did you get turned down for a job with a TVR dealer perhaps? I think we should be told.
