Does any one know if the compression ratios of a standard engine and that of a Red Rose are different?
I suspect the Red Rose will have a high one, so whilst the engine is out I am doing a bit of tuning to it. If anyone knows what the CR on a Red Rose engine is I would be grateful for the information.

Willy - I picked this off the T350 General info :

Compression Ratio 11.8:1

Now - bear in mind that this can in Theory be used with unleaded (95 ron).

So - I would not raise it .. as it's very very high already.

Does the Red Rose have a highter CR - no idea but I doubt it somehow..

Having seen the head off the engine it looks like there is no room to manouver anyway and 11.8:1 is certainly high. Thanks
