A while ago.....you could say that! Try July 15th!!!
...
The biggest pain in my arse (apart from the obvious [ahem!] 'rear breakaway event') has been the frankly ludicrous amount of time I've had to wait for the supply of parts from TVR themselves.
What are you waiting on now, bud? You've now beaten the 2.5 months I had to wait for the rebuild, and the other 2.5 months for getting the front-end resprayed. Just yell if I can ring anyone up and shout at them for you!

We're currently waiting on a front indicator lens (old one cracked removing it from its' snug, mastic'd home in the old wing) and a small, innocuous aluminium block that distributes fluid to the back brakes (thread stripped on removal). Oh, and the front alloy still hasn't turned up!
It would probably be quicker to build a rapid prototyping machine from bits I could find laying around, learn how to program it, then power it from a hamster operated wheel (after catching, taming and training the hamster!)
TVR parts department - load of bollox more like!

It has progressed into an offer being made from Aon Insurance services. Half of the total bill of £4090 in fact.
They even made me get statements from the last service centre, stating they had completed the service correctly. (TMS) I found it a little embaressing to ask for such evidence, as it questions the integrity of people, and organisations. I supose its all part of their plan to make it awkward.
Not really. If it progresses to a court case, the judge will want to see written proof of all statements made by both sides. They're making sure such proof exists.

Indicator lense - get a Chimaera reversing lamp, and take a bit of sandpaper to the rim. Not only will it save you £80+, there's a chance they'll be in stock somewhere (try TVR Power).
Alloy - Have you checked with all the dealers, plus indys like Central TVR? Hmmm, thinking about it, try here: www.bellhillgarage.co.uk and here: www.douglasvalley.co.uk.
Alu block - no idea.
