Yes 10K service intervals would certainly be a great thing if they could achieve it.

I've just bought Citroen C3. Service intervals 20,000 miles or 2 years!!

Missed this great thread as I was yumping up to Liverpool and back to see my daughter. Just wanted to say how much I agree. The Speed 6 must be one of the all time greats and has a glourious sound. I had the oppertunity to drive through the Mersey tunnel Saturday evening(-for some reason the car stuck in second and occasionaly dropped down into first- must be a fault!).This engine sounds race tuned,it wails and snarls and when given the beans shrieks its way through the tunnel...bloody amazing noise much appreciated by the locals.

As there are not many places where you can use the full output of the Speed 6 without reaching very high speeds-even if you keep it in the lower gear, I revel in its acceleration which-to be frank-had the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end untill I became acclimatised. The punch available in third and forth is devastating.

God bless Blackpool High Performance.

The sound of the S6? It's OK, it's very revvy and I love the throttle response...but the sound? Still don't think it compares to a V8 at on full chat or as good as Shady's DB9 I followed up to BT&P last year. But there again the engine out of a DB9 is probably worth about as much as my Tuscan.

Yeah it's OK but nothing to write home about, infact if I'd have brought a car of engine sound alone I would have stuck with my Chim.

You need to hear a few more Tams/t350's, Al. As JSG says, the Tuscan exhausts seem to restrict the S6 sound - ask PetrolTed and TonyH what my car sounds like - it really does almost have a V8 beat when it's idling - and it isn't tinny and light as you would expect - there is a deep bass note which sounds particularly good in the Eurotunnel trains, where you FEEL the noise as well as hear it!

The S6 was the main reason I bought a Sagaris.

Though I'll be the first to say that I think that the sound which comes out of the tamora and t350 exhaust as standard is even better. Wierdly it sounds quite like an old ferrari v12. The saggy's rear exit pipes make it sound more growly and snargly which suit the way it looks but for pure acoutsic pleasure a flat out tam in a tunnel takes it. That said, from OUTSIDE the car the sag sounds truly ferocious and makes an unbelievable sound considering it's a standard exhaust system. I'm still waiting for a loud system to stick on it but no one seems in too much of a hurry to get round to making one.

Please don't say 'racing green' because theirs is no louder.

Duncan how's it going?

Standard sleeved exhaust at the moment, it pops and bangs up and down. Heard Lady Di's with the Carbon cans they sounded pretty good.

Had a set of Blueflames fitted to it for about half an hour they had to come off, can't say what I thought under Ted's no N&S rule!

You taking yours to BT&P? if so like to have a close listen if I may.

My Tuscan 2 has a significantly bassier note than my previous Tuscan. No idea why but it does.

The CCC cans are loud (no question! ) but I think they sound a bit "tinny" personally.

Late on parade again.....
Mine was starting to sound like a banshee on steroids, which was nice!!
That is until I found out one of the welds had split.
Still sounds awseome now though.
Does anyone else's over-run performance vary with the atmospherics??
Mine seems to pop and crackle far more on a clear day than on a damp or overcast day, or is it just my imagination?

Agreed - found them unpleasantly raspy on their own - a little too Max Power. A de-cat added a really bassy rumble, though, at which point I was quite happy.

Well, I have to say that I do miss the V8 rumble

But, if you still want to track twice a year, how do you get a good compromise without going over the required db read out?

Used to be easy with the Cerb, stick on that outrageous device to muffle it a bit.....but with the Sag....?????
