Not wishing to appear a thicky, but..... How do i upgrade the output of my Cerb Sp6. I have a 4 litre engine in my 99 cerb, putting out an alleged 350bhp. The later 4 litre tuscan s is putting out nearer 400bhp, and a higher torque figure. Am I correct in thinking that a change of ECU will up the power output of my engine? I realise that the engine may have been altered to cope with the extra power, but my engine was rebuilt in June 04, and must have been produced to the higher spec (ha!). With the ECU, is it a case of replacing the chip, or having the chip you already have reprogrammed? Mmmmm. any help, smart arse comments, etc appreciated. Not been a post on here in a while everybodys engines ok then?

The only 2 tuners I know which can tune the MBE's are Joolz of TCS and Paul at Austec, they do chip remapping with rolling road before and after tests. Paul even has a twin map system, effectively permitting you to have 2 maps, one for performance (and mega pops and bangs) and one for just regular driving....

As far as I know, your 4 litre should produce around 370 minimum, after a remap, but again this can vary depending on a number of variables....

Its up to you if you see the justification in paying $$$'s for a remap, 350 is just fine! or alternatively just spend the dosh on a weekend for two in Egypt...
