I'm getting a new (to me) vehicle on Saturday. Like most of us, I do like my gadgets and basically need to have a power outlet for phone, tablet (used as gps), camera and HUD. What is the best options for powering them all? In the past I've used a multihub powered from the lighter socket but its really messy.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

If you are confident and knowledgeable with 12V electrics and installing, then do as mentioned above hard wire them into the car using the correct grade wires and connections for permanent and switched 12V all with excellent earth connections.

If you aren't so confident, get a local 12V car/vehicle electrician to install them for you as they'll do it both properly and safely for you.

Cheers, Dennis!

Get something like this and connect it to the +ve that goes to your ciggy lighter, then hide it away under the dash

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ENE55SQ/

or this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Converter-Voltage-Paralle...

You should check that all your devices dont exceed the max current.
