On another thread I was asking about mobile sat navs and camera warnings, however it strikes me that with smart motorways and every conceivable means of extracting cash, I need to be belt and braces.
What camera detector would people recommend that can be swapped vehicle to vehicle via lighter socket. Don't want to hard wire it in as I drive varying vehicles.

Road Angel Gem. Updates automatically with the built in sim card. Also has around 3 hour life on built in battery so can be swapped around without cables if you want.

Few weeks ago, Mrs Nutsy driving. What's that beeping, she said. Camera van I replied. Without slowing down she says "where? Just passed it says me. 10 days later brown envelope arrives, 37 in 30. She opted for the SAC, which she found really useful.

Yep, Waze. Been using it for about a year now, after it was recomended on here. Also directs around trafiic too, not just for 'safety' cameras.
