Can anybody recommend me a SIM card for a 104-Pro installed in a daily driven car? I'd probably track using data, rather than text, unless anybody can give me a reason to go for text. I believe that GiffGaff comes recommended, although it may make sense to use Vodafone because that would leave me on the same network as my personal mobile.

Any experiences around what I am likely to be spending would be good too.

Thanks in advance

if 3G capable (and a lot aren't ) then 3 has a 200MB/month SIM that would be great.

if 2G (most are), Asda Mobile

Hi everyone!

I'm about to move into another city in a few weeks and because we haven't got a car to take our stuffs we have to rely on strangers(generally I don't trust strangers).

Because I heard some 'horror' stories in the past(not about these people of course) when the van full of items never made it to the new address, I was thinking about to buy a tracking device(Tk102) and hide in one of the boxes on the top of the stack. Do you think it could work? The journey would be around 200 miles...

Thanks in advance

Having done the research, I found that giffgaff was indeed the best for very light data usage. Went with that and have had absolutely no issues. A Lycamobile SIM came in the box, with a note to say that I need to top up every 90 days, whereas giffgaff should last double.

As an aside, I found that O2 was the best for occasional calls (their per minute rates are quite low).

You could do, but just be aware that battery life is 80 hours according to the Rewire site. Great if your things go missing and you start the search straight away. Unless you desperately want the smaller size, I would go with one of the more expensive options.

Website for tracking is very good, by the way.
