Road Angel cancellation - A word of warning
Discussion
If you are a Road Angel customer you may be aware that there has been a recent change in ownership which has resulting in a new contract being sent by email and a recent 75% price increase (described in the mail as a small increase!).
If you decide to cancel do not phone Road Angel or contact them before you have cancelled your direct debit with your bank - there is now a £35 cancellation fee which they try to take from you
Putting a cancellation fee in place and then increasing the fees is an appalling way to do business I have been a loyal customer for over 9 years - when challenged there is no apology just continual hiding behind the terms and conditions.

The really annoying thing is that I didn't buy a Road Angel, but a Pogo Alert, because I didn't want to deal with Road Angel. Then Road Angel bought Pogo.
Same here. I had an Origin B2 that I upgraded to a Pogo. Road Angel then bought them out but kept the ability to update the Pogo, until that went too and my only option now is to buy a Road Angel and bin the Pogo ... yes, bin the neat and discrete little cube and replace it with the hideous great lump of a monstrosity that is a Road Angel
